Scattered Stars (Snapshot Stories 39)

Between the scattered stars, the moon rises bright and shy.

The darkness all around is alive with the careful, cheerful, busy songs of unseen creatures as they get on with their night-lives.

And if you breathe in deep, you can smell the faint scent of the rain-dropped frangipanis around you.

Or, if you prefer the vibe of a haiku:

Scattered stars
Garden night songs
Rain-dropped frangipanis
